Exercise promotes better sleep but should not be done four hours before going to sleep. The endorphins and adrenaline would just keep you awake.

Keep a regular schedule

Sleep at regular times. Go to bed the same time every night and get up the same time every morning even on weekends. By this way, your body will be more accustomed to sleeping at the right time.

Avoid long naps

If you sleep in the middle of the day, then expect your regular night’s sleep to be worse. It is better to go to bed on time in the evening. If you are really used to taking naps, do not sleep for more than 20 minutes.

Your room should be quiet, dark and cool for you to easily fall asleep. The darkness can also stimulate your body to produce melatonin which can have a sedating effect.
